He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Kohlstrom and Bertha Kohlstrom (Becky); his wife Donna Peabody (Auger) of Barre; his children, David Peabody Jr. (Sara), Kerry Wells (Jim Parker) of Ware, MA and Kevin Peabody of Athol, MA.; his sisters, Dawn LeClaire (Ed Kimmel) of Nevada and Eve Yarmosh (Michael) of Pennsylvania; his brother-in-law Richard Collette of Holden; his grandchildren, Jocelyn and Lucas Wells of Ware, MA.; and his siblings, Michael Dumas, Geno Peabody and Patricia Collette. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
