He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Dickman and Shirley Dickman (Boquist). He is survived by: his sister Cynthia Smith (Craig) of Holden; his nieces, Jessica (Matthew), Lindsay and Sarah; his great-niece Baylee; and his great-nephews, Lukas, Thomas and Charles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

“I only worked with Dave for a little while, but he became a lifelong friend to me, as he was to so many others. Every time I would see him, he would bring a smile to my face, and we'd laugh about old times. He'd bring up names from our time in Worcester, people that he was still very much in contact with. He was there for everyone to lend an ear, support and unlimited kindness. He never complained once about his predicament, choosing instead to live a full, rich life. I'll never forget him!”
