It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl A. Mellor Sr. (Holden, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Mellor and Norma Mellor (Carlson); and his siblings, Martha Davis and Lee Mellor. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mellor (Nystrom) of Jefferson; his son Carl Mellor, Jr. (Amanda); his grandchildren, Hannah, Logan and Olivia of Hardwick; his daughter Samantha Williams (Tom); his grandchildren, Carden, Landon, Avery and Nolan of Athol; his daughter Stephanie Mellor (Drew Dudley); his grandchildren, Sophia and Everett of Gardner; his stepson Mark Nystrom of Jefferson; and his siblings, John Mellor of Walker, AZ, Robert Mellor of Fort Myers, FL, Ellsworth Mellor Jr. (Catherine Teves) of Lakeville, MA, James Mellor (Beth), Mark Mellor (Paula McCorkle) of Marlboro, NH, Michael Mellor of Worcester, Diana Provencher (James) of Holden, Sheryl Vernon (Jonathan) of Rutland, Charlene Ross (Darren) of Rutland, Sarah Mellor of Spencer and Rebecca Mellor of Northbridge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (346 Shrewsbury St, Holden, MA 01520).
