He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy L. Scappaticci (Cofske); his parents, Antonio Scappaticci and Lucia Scappaticci (Notarangelo); and his sisters, Philomena Smith and Mary Hatstat.
He is survived by: his children, Brian A. Scappaticci (Debra) of California, Anthony J. Scappaticci (MaryAnn Puglisi) of Methuen and Sally A. Smalanskas (John) of Holden; his sisters, Santina Russo of Worcester and Michelina Brouillette of Dennis; his grandchildren, Erica, Amanda, Anthony, Matthew, Brittany, Patrick and Michael; and his great grandchildren, William, Levi and Augustine. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
