It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ahmed Elmi of Holden, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Abu Nassir and Tima Nassir; and his parents, Fatuma Said and Mohamed Hashi Elmi. He is survived by: his spouse Migdalia Elmi (Ruiz); his children, Mohamed Elmi (Asha) of Manassas, VA, Fatima Elmi of Holden, Omar Elmi of Worcester and Jasmine Duffy (Patrick) of Holden; his grandchildren, Jibril Elmi, Omar Elmi Jr., Christian Rivera, Mason, Anthony and Cameron Duffy; and his sisters, Zahra Hashi of Arusha, Hadija Hashi of Arusha and Tanzania. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
