He is survived by: his spouse Marion Rapoza (Woodman); his children, Coleen Rapoza of Marshfield, Christine Vitale-Lynch (Michael) of So and Weymouth; and his sisters, Claudia Costa and Geraldine Pereira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Salvation Army, 216 Centre Street, Brockton, MA 02303 or to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172.
