She is survived by: her husband William H. Barrett; her sons, Brian (Kerry) of Braintree, Kevin (Samantha), Dennis and William M. Barrett of Holbrook; her grandsons, Jake and Sean Barrett of Braintree; her sibling Laurel McGrath (Michael) of Stoughton; and her nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Will, Carson and Davis McGrath.

Donations in Sandy's name may be made to the Mass Audubon Society, Sea Turtle Project @massaudubon.org.
