We bid farewell to Mary (Bettencourt) Hansen (Rockland, Massachusetts), born in Holbrook, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bettencourt and Mary Bettencourt (Dickerman); and her siblings, Edith Doughty, Warren Bettencourt, Alfred Bettencourt, Etta Blodgette and Janet Meyers.
She is survived by: her husband Richard L. "Dick" Hansen; her brother Eddie Bettencourt (Judy) of Stoughton; and her grandchildren, Andy, Shawn, Amanda, Jenelle (Jeffrey), Richard (Elisa), Sam, Becky (David) and Matty.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery (277 Central St, Rockland, MA 02370). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to Avon Baptist Church, 119 North Main Street, Avon, MA 02322.
