Mary C. (Lydon) Martin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 95, Mary C. (Lydon) Martin of Holbrook, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Lydon and Margaret Lydon; her husband Robert Martin (Bob); her grandmother Mary; and her sister Marguerite Lydon.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Trapp (Richard Covino), Carol Petzoldt (John) and Robert Martin, Jr. (Beyni); her grandchildren, Donald Trapp, Caitlin Conners (Paul), Julianne Noonan (Ryan), Natalie Martin, Lauren DeGruchy (Stephen) of Calgary Canada and Shelby Modula (Steven) of Florida; her great grandchildren, Riley, Harper Trapp and Stanford "Ford" DeGruchy; her brother Philip Lydon (Bud); and her friend Joan Maloney. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many wonderful cousins and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home - Holbrook (69 S Franklin St, Holbrook, MA 02343). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (153 S Franklin St, Holbrook, MA 02343). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
