John Minty Roy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Minty Roy of Holbrook, Massachusetts, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Roy and Margret Bonella Roy (Ella); his daughters, Kathy and Margot; his grandson Lynn (John); his wife Lynn Thomas; his children-in-law, David Hooke and Jagdish Koppisety; his grandson Benjamin; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie and Larry [Leslie]. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
When the pandemic struck, John swapped out his local gym membership for Boston's bikeshare program.
