He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Dustin (Yalenezian); his parents, James Dustin and Mary Dustin; and his siblings, Edward, Marion and Lorraine.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Dustin of Stoughton and John Dustin (Jean) of Foxboro; his grandchildren, Maggie (Aaron), Jack (Esme), Katie, Theresa and Gina; and his great grandchildren, Tully, Waverly and Liam.
