She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Hurd; her child Stacey Hurd; and her brother James Reilly. She is survived by: her son Scott Hurd of Holbrook; her siblings, Thomas Reilly, Paul Reilly, June McCullough and Marilyn Moran; and her grandchild Reese Hurd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Geraldine's memory to the American Diabetes Association via diabetes.org.
