He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Phillips and Inell Phillips (Preston); his spouse Laticia Phillips (Valarde); and his daughter Felecia Phillips. He is survived by: his former wife Bettie Brooks; and his children, Antoinette Phillips of Maryland, Ernest Phillips, Jr. of Boston, Gloria Phillips of Boston, Pierre Bourgeois of Clinton, Scott Bourgeois of Oxford, Kyle Crayton of Boston, Lauren Crayton of Boston, Lanardah Clark and Dawn Phillips. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
