She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonifacio Casciano and Virginia Casciano; her husband Donald S. Hassell; her son Stephen; and her siblings, Mary, Tony, Ato, Margaret, Rocco, Edith and Evelyn.

She is survived by: her children, Virginia Campbell (Diane Murphy) of Norwich, CT, Daniel Hassell (Kathleen) of Norwell, Mary Hassell-Hunt (John Sousa) of Rumford, RI, Alan Hassell (Susan Zwick) of Arlington and Susan Esancy of Beverly. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
