She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas G. Gauss; her siblings, Kathleen Gundal, Francis and William Gundal; her great grandchildren, Vera and Gianna Felaccio; and her parents, Francis E. Gundal and Katherine Spang Gundal.
She is survived by: her sister Mary E. Verwey; her children, Thomas Gauss, Rosemarie Ricci (Ralph), Jean Johnson (Ted) and James Gauss (Peggy); her grandchildren, Michael Ricci, Colleen Ricci, TJ Johnson, Christina Felaccio, Adam Felaccio, Casandra Kardell, Justin Kardell, Timothy Ricci, Molly Aukstikalnis, Alicia Johnson, Sarah Gauss, Zac Carey, Nick Gauss and Ian Nightingale; and her great grandchildren, Brian Ricci, Charles Ricci, Evelyn Ricci, Amelia Ricci, Allyson Ricci, Vincent Felaccio and Lennon Felaccio.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to American Lung Association.
