He was predeceased by: his parent Earl E.; and his brother Earl E. Carmel, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Ruth Sherman Carmel; his wife Evelyn Grace Bean; his brother Louis of Hinsdale; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Carmel of New Hampshire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Eleanor Sonsini Shelter, in care of the funeral home.
