Martha A. Freshler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha A. Freshler of Hinsdale, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Shock and Rayda Shock (Haas); her husband Harry E. Freshler, Jr.; her daughter Joan Marie Ross (Freshler); her foster parents, Lawrence Dingman and Phyllis Parrish Dingman; and her brothers, Eugene and Donald Shock.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald (Jean) of St Petersburg, FL and Lawrence (Sonia) of Spokane Washington; her son-in-law Hal Ross; her foster sister Shirley Robinson; her brother-in-law Allen Freshler; and her grandsons, Peter Ross, Barrett and Brett Freshler. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Martha's memory be made to the Hinsdale Food Pantry at 371 Old Dalton Rd, Hinsdale MA 01235 and 1st Congregational Church of Hinsdale.
