It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Sanders (Hinsdale, Massachusetts), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 26, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Sanders and Gladys Parker Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rice Sanders of Hinsdale; his daughters, Denise Turrell (Sean) of Pittsfield, Doreen Fahey (Brian) and Debra Sanders of Stratham, NH; his stepdaughter Amanda Kmetz (Richard) of Dalton; his nephew Robert Couture (R. D.) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Macie, Kaylie Turrell, Sean, Sara, Matthew Fahey and Christopher Carty; his stepgrandchildren, Zachary Kmetz, Stephanie and Nicholas Rice; his siblings-in-law, Katherine Sanders of Dalton and Jack (Annette Collins) of Danvers, MA; his siblings, Nancy Sanders, Lois Couture of Dalton and Robert Sanders of Dalton; and his stepchildren, Jessica Rice and Frank E Rice, Jr. of Hinsdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in his memory may be made to Hinsdale Volunteer Fireman's Association in care of the funeral home.
