He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley MacQuarrie and Helen MacQuarrie; his brother J. Conrad MacQuarrie; and his niece Lisa Ryland. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hines MacQuarrie; his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Barbara; his son Barry; his daughter-in-law Wendy; his grandchildren, Meghan, Mark Davis, Daniel MacQuarrie, Joseph and Jessie MacQuarrie; his siblings-in-law, John, Pat Hines and Ethel MacQuarrie; his nieces, Martha, Susan and Sarah; and his nephew Woody.
