He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary DiMilla (Panza) and Pasquale DiMilla; his wife Betty (Cook); and his son John. He is survived by: his children, Christine Sarfati (Jerry), Peter DiMilla (Jeanine), Andrew DiMilla (Martha) and Julie DiMilla; his brother Bob (Ann); and his grandchildren, Leah, Ben, Luke, Matthew and Jacquelyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
