He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Flynn and Susan Ruth Flynn (Sullivan); and his son Thomas Flynn, Jr.. He is survived by: his close friend S. Navy; his wife Alice; his daughters, Kathleen Kelley of Medford, Susan Leighton (Paul) of Beverly and Christine O'Brien of Manchester, N. H.; and his grandchildren, Mary-Kate, Erin, Clare Kelley, Sarah, Elizabeth Leighton, Joseph and Ben O'Brien. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
