It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Bullard Carpenter (Hingham, Massachusetts), born in Cataumet, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 31, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her half-sister Karen Pulster; and her parent Parker Bullard. She is survived by: her husband John M. Carpenter; her children, Jane Johnston (Craig) of Portland, OR and John (Thomas Michie) of Brookline; her grandchildren, Michael Johnston of San Francisco, Alison Johnston of San Francisco and Daniel Johnston of San Francisco; her half-sister Deidre TeStrake of Raleigh, NC; her stepbrother Benjamin Blanchard of Charlottesville, VA; her parent Grace Blanchard of Boston; and also Susan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
