Ruth A. (MacArthur) Briggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A. (MacArthur) Briggs of Hingham, Massachusetts, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey MacArthur and Mildred MacArthur (Saxild); her husband Karl Briggs; and her sister Constance Thompson (Bud). She is survived by: her children, Douglas Briggs (Claudia Sorgi), Steven Briggs (Michelle) and Nancy Reynolds (Bill); and her grandchildren, Nelson Briggs (Katrina Wigzell), Cecilia Briggs (James Moran), Colin Briggs, Evan Briggs, Katie Dillon (Bobby), Sarah Reynolds and John Reynolds. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
