He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Smith; his parents, Norman Smith and Mildred Smith (Wagner); his son Steven Sellman of Plymouth; and his siblings, Jean Hunt of Bridgetown, ME and Ronald Smith of Hingham.
He is survived by: his children, Stacey, Smith Jr. of Hull, Susan J, Daniel Valley of Antrim, NH, Nancy, Amy Smith of Milton and Beth Peterson of Plymouth; and his sister Bonnie Smith of Norwell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel (21 Pond St, Hingham, MA 02043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
