She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Whalen and Yvonne Whalen of Waltham; her husband John F. Boyle, Jr.; her siblings, Francis Whalen, Jr. and Jean Urquhart; and her son-in-law John K. Ryan.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Ryan, John F. Boyle, III (Joanne), Ellen Landry (John) and Kenneth P. Boyle; her grandson Eric Hoy (Lisa); her children, Kevin Boyle (Molly), Andrea Thomas (Charles), Brendan Boyle (Gabriela), Jeffrey Boyle (Hannah) and Norah Ryan; her sister Gail McCuan; and her brother-in-law Richard W. Boyle. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
