It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Souther of Hingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Souther to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Franklin Souther; her parents, James William Dunn and Elizabeth Dunn (Quinn); and her brother Robert Dunn. She is survived by: her children, Charles Souther (Paula) of Hingham, Anne Ciovacco (Walter) of Hingham, James Souther (Paul Purcell) of Fort Lauderdale, John Souther of Norwell, Ginger Baxter (Dana) of Hingham, Karen Ohrenberger (Michael) of Middleborough, Ted Souther (Susan) of Hingham and Carolyn Kelley (William) of Worcester; her siblings, Ann Durant, Carole Pyne, Clare Bigelow and Betsey Croker; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Worsh of Duxbury and Kenneth Durant of Hingham. She is also survived by 8 children, 23 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Sadly, due to the current COVID-19 situation, Mary's funeral will be private with only immediate family attending and there will not be a public wake.
