It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Cowan of Hingham, Massachusetts, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on September 12, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Tom Cowan Sr.; her children, Tom (Carmel), Chris (El) and Kate McCormick (Dan); her grandchildren, Cara Bennett (Tim), Thomas (Alyssa), Connor, Julia (Mac Dolan), Luke Cowan, Zach and Maggie McCormick; her brothers, Jack McGarry of Waterford, CT and Tom McGarry of Old Lyme, CT; and her great grandchild Luke Rock Bennett.
