She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Wendel and E. Barbara Wendel (Carroll); and her son George B. Newton III. She is survived by: her husband George B. Newton, Jr.; her son James W. Newton of Sharon, Massachusetts.; her daughter-in-law Kimberly A. Amaral Newton; her granddaughter Margaret; her sister Ena Barbara Carlin of Florida; her brother-in-law Dr. Richard Carlin; and her nieces and nephews, Robert, Christine, David and Catherine.
