He is survived by: his brother Ernie Mears of Oswego, NY; his son John Mears (Lillian Mears) of Colorado Springs; his daughter-in-law Diane Mears of Rochester, NY; his wife Ida Mae; his brother Carl Mears; and his son Michael Mears. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
