He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Jeanne Ryan McPhail of Hingham, John M. Ryan (Pamela) of Derry, NH and Monika Streber-Hofmann (Luipold) of Munich, Germany.; and his grandchildren, Michael Ryan McPhail, Kathryn McPhail, Molly McShane (Michael), Lydia Ryan, Lacey Ryan, Emma Ryan, Benjamin Streber and Christian Streber. He is also survived by his wife's family, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
