He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann D. McHugh (Donnelly); his children, John W. McHugh Jr. (Christine) of Weymouth and Heidi McHugh Mair (Ross) of Boston; his grandchildren, John III, Connor and Caitlin; his parents, Edward Francis McHugh and Eleanor Whelton McHugh; and his brothers, Edward F. McHugh of Scituate, Robert and Richard McHugh. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
