He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence MacKinnon and Catherine MacKinnon; his brother Kevin MacKinnon; and his nephew Ryan MacKinnon. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Thomas MacKinnon; his children, John MacKinnon (Karen) of Duxbury, Kevin MacKinnon (Maria Del Carmen) of Marshfield, Maryellen McBride (Timothy) of Hingham, Michael MacKinnon (Kenna) of Oak Park, Julie Houle (Aaron) of Hingham and Thomas MacKinnon (Danielle) of Duxbury; his siblings, Kathy Nicholson and Paul MacKinnon (Gerri); and his sister-in-law Nancy MacKinnon.
