He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George McIntosh and Mary McIntosh (Murphy); his sister Gertrude Moretti (McIntosh); his wife Marie McIntosh (Cummiskey); and his children, Thomas McIntosh (Christine) of Norwell, Diane McIntosh (Richard Ward) of Methuen, Carol Keohane (James) of Norwell, Betty Clark (Alan) of Midlothian, Virginia, Barbara McIntosh of Dedham, Linda Agri (Derek) of South Dennis and Judith Papetti (Kenneth) of Grafton. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Furthermore, John lived a quiet life of charity.
