She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest A. Smith and Agnes Smith (King); her husband Richard of Hingham; her daughters, Kathy Buffington of Naples, FL and Karin Fleming (Dennis) of Lincoln, RI; her grandchildren, Patrick, Graham, Ryan, Abigail, Emily, Lynsey, Cooper and Jake; her brother Thomas Smith (Jean) of Truro; her brother-in-law Gerald Lussier of Delmar, NY; her sisters, Paula Lussier (Joyce) of Kingston, NY and Judith Standring of West Yarmouth; and her brother-in-law Harold Standring. She was also cherished by nine nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Janice's memory to the MGH Center for Neuro-Oncology.
