He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Judith Gratta of Hingham and James Barkas (Elizabeth) of Hull; his daughter Mila Jae Barkas of Hingham; his siblings, Mackenzie Rose Zofchak (Andrew) of Randolph and Mattison Alexander Barkas of Hingham; his grandparents, Voula Barkas (Phyllis) of Hull, Paraskevas Barkas (Bill), Joseph and Rose Gratta; his great-aunt Angela Grace Nardo; his nephew Dimitrios Alexander Barkas; his pet Penny Powers; and his friends, Ryan Cinquegrano and Mikey Lucreziano. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
