It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Blanco of Hingham, Massachusetts, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Corrado Blanco and Francesca Zenettini Blanco; his siblings, Joanne Tirinzonie, Patricia Blanco and Joseph Blanco; his former wife Margaret Frohman Blanco; and his daughter Mary Wilkes.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Blanco, Laurie Buttkus (Peter), Beth Powers (Bill) and Bill McGrane; his son-in-law Duncan Wilkes; and his grandchildren, Molly Fortenberry, Kari Buttkus, Victoria Lopez, Andrew Powers, Courtney Goode, Matthew Wilkes, Caitlin Uttley, Caley Noles and Meagan Eggler. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
