It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Sofis of Hingham, Massachusetts, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 5, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Alice Evangelides (Sofis) and Constance Sofis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Sofis (Kremonas); his daughters, Lisa (John Scheft) of Arlington, MA. and Dina of Watertown, MA; his grandchildren, Callie Sofis-Scheft of Washington, DC and Perry Sofis-Scheft of Arlington; his cousins, Constantine "Gus" Sofis of Scottsdale and Tom Sofis of Italy; and also, Tina Evangelides Donovan of New York City and Stephen Evangelides, Jr. of Red Bank.
