While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alfred E. Margetts, Mabel E. Wilcox and Ruth C. Yourell; and his brothers-in-law, Arthur LaBrecque and Ronald Yourell.
He is survived by: his siblings, David B. Margetts (Susan), Judith A. Margetts (Dana McDonough) and Janet L. LaBrecque. He is also survived by four cousins and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel (21 Pond St, Hingham, MA 02043). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairmount Cemetery (168 Cedar St, Weymouth, MA 02189).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ellsworth's memory to the First Baptist Church of Hingham 85 Main St Hingham MA 02043.
