It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Abelsky Bortnick of Hingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Elaine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elaine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elaine leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Louis Bortnick; her children, Karen Bortnick, Robert Bortnick and Lisa Bortnick Noble; and her grandchildren, Michael Bortnick, Anna Bortnick, Dana Noble and Isaac Noble.
