He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Sr. Langill and Frances M. Langill (Richards); his son David Langill; his grandson Aron; his brother Richard (Dickie); and his son-in-law Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. "Sherry" Langill (Renkert) of Weymouth; his children, Ted Langill of Weymouth, Jim Langill (Elizabeth) of Hanson and CherylAnn McMorrow of Hingham; his grandchildren, Tyler (Caitlin), Amanda (Nick), Patrick (Briana), Kathryn, Nicholas, Ryan and Bailey; his great grandchild Emmett; and his siblings, Jane Andrews, Leslie Langill and William Langill.
