With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Sampson Edwards of Hingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Deborah Sampson departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Deborah Sampson. Though Deborah Sampson may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Sampson and Priscilla Sampson of Brockton; and her brothers, Kenneth Sampson of Belmont, MA and Thomas Sampson of Easton, MA.. She is survived by: her husband J. Michael Edwards. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waitt Funeral Home (850 N Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Melrose Cemetery (88 N Pearl St, Brockton, MA 02301).
