He is survived by: his wife Patricia Whalen Boyle; his children, Catherine Ryan, John F. Boyle, III (Joanne), Ellen Landry (John) and Kenneth P. Boyle; his grandson Eric Hoy (Lisa); his children, Kevin Boyle (Molly), Andrea Thomas (Charles), Brendan Boyle (Gabriela), Jeffrey Boyle (Hannah) and Norah Ryan; his great grandchildren, Cecelia, Ella Hoy and James Boyle; his brother Richard W. Boyle; and his sister-in-law Gail McCuan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
