He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Franklin Lacatell and Dorothy Rathbun Lacatell; and his brother Thomas Andrew Lacatell. He is survived by: his brother Richard E. Lacatell; his sister-in-law Joyce Lacatell; his sons, Andrew David Lacatell and Marc William Lacatell; and his grandchildren, Noah David Lacatell, Sophia Grace Lacatell, Kristian William Lacatell and Halen Richard Lacatell.
