He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gifford and Margaret Gifford (Grandgent); his wife Irene; and his siblings, Mary, Alice, Edmund and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Gifford (Amy) of Westwood, NJ and Anne Dodge (Edward) of Barkhamsted, CT..
