He was predeceased by: his brother Charlestown; and his father David F. Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his brother Hingham David F. Fitzgerald; his wife Joan C. Fitzgerald (Sullivan); his children, Mary Beth Dunne (Richard Hohol) of Bloomingdale, Ill, Laura J. Fitzgerald of Danvers and Suzanne M. McLaughlin (Gerard) of Braintree; his grandchildren, Ryan Dunne, Katharine Jung (Brandon), Daniel Fitzgerald Hughes, Kyle Edward McLaughlin and Kelly Rose McLaughlin; and his siblings, Thomas, George, Edward Fitzgerald, Eleanor Mahoney, Marjorie McGonigle and Robert Fitzgerald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
