He was predeceased by: his wife Jo-Ann E. (Butler). He is survived by: his parents, James Doody and Julia Doody (Poston); his children, Lisa D. Gates (Jack) of Scituate, Stephen R. Doody (Kristina) of Canton, Robyn E. Griffin (Timothy) of Marshfield and Lynda A. Caristi (Kenneth) of Scituate; his siblings, Marie Carbone of Plainville, CT, Carol of Hanover, Louis of Hilo, HI, John of Marshfield and Helen of Hanson; and his wife Mary. He is also survived by grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Most Holy Redeemer Parish, 65 London Street, East Boston 02128-1924 would be appreciated.
