With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel John Lahiff of Hingham, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine "Kay" Lahiff and Michael Lahiff. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Meaghann, Brendan and Matthew; his siblings, Michael Lahiff (Ann) of Melrose, Rosemary O'Malley (Mark) of Canton, John Lahiff (Kathy) of Norwell, Claire Rafferty (John) of Reading, Anne Bulger (Patrick) of Norwell, Kevin Lahiff (Alison) of North Attleboro, Carol Lahiff of Somerville, Paul Lahiff, Maria of Canton and Stephen Lahiff (Amy) of Attleboro; his mother-in-law Ann Carlisle of Centerville; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon, Cathleen Carlisle of Centerville, Michael Carlisle (Ellen) of Medway and Thomas Carlisle of Braintree. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home - Hingham (21 Emerald St, Hingham, MA 02043). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home (21 Emerald St, Hingham, MA 02043). A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Paul's Parish (147 North St, Hingham, MA 02043). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Paul's Cemetery (114 Hersey St, Hingham, MA 02043).
