He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thompson and Constance Thompson of Hingham, Mass.. He is survived by: his wife Lauri Byer; his siblings, Bruce Thompson (Maureen Thompson) and Sue Rego (Peter Rego); his children, Alex and Abby Thompson (Justin Ogilvie); his nephews, Brian and Connor; his niece Kathryn; his stepdaughter Lauryn (Darren Leverenz); his stepgrandchildren, Riley and Harlow; and his stepson Tyler (Fran).
