He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosimo C. Arena and Rose Arena (Ciriletto); and his sister Frances Puopolo. He is survived by: his children, Christopher C. Arena (late Annette) of Vermont, Rosamond M. Arena of Watertown, Philip T. Arena of Hingham, Nancy A. Grant (Mark) of North Reading, Jane C. Gilmartin (Gregory) of Hingham and Charles A. Arena Jr. of Natick; his brother Dr. Philip J. Arena (late Claire) of Hingham; and his friends, Joe Fiore of Florida and Frank Nahigian of Watertown. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
