He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Hughes; and his brother-in-law John Maney. He is survived by: his spouse Anne Cronin (Conlee) of Hingham; his children, Mary Cronin of Quincy and Basil Cronin III; his wife Annie of Marshfield; his grandchildren, John Basil, Brian Cronin, Liam Cronin, Andrew Bird and Caitlin Bird; his siblings, Constance Maney, Elaine Cronin, John Cronin (Joanne), Gail Glasheen (Thomas), Michael Cronin (Priscilla) and Helen Ferrante (late James); and also, AnneMarie Bird (Steven) of Shrewsbury and Timothy Cronin of Hingham.
